Notice of Birth


Application for a birth certificate for children born outside Zimbabwe can be done at the Embassy.

Book an Appointment

Required Documents:

  1. Completed B.D 3 Form
  2. Two (2) Copies of Child’s foreign Birth Certificate
  3. Two (2) Copies of parents Birth Certificate
  4. Two (2) Copies of Parents’ Zimbabwe National ID Card
  5. Two (2) Copies of parents marriage certificate
  6. 30.00 Euros cash payable to Embassy of Zimbabwe
  7. Both parents (if applicable) should be available at the Embassy
  8. If one parent is a foreign national please bring supporting documents that are certified and legalized by their respective Embassy
  9. NB* If applying for both birth certificate and passport on the same day bring three (3) copies of all the supporting documents stated above.

NB* Submission of forms in Harare can be done through contacts in Zimbabwe.
