Ambassador Mashingaidze took part in Diplomatic Ambassadors’ Trip hosted by President of the Federal Republic of Germany, H.E Frank -Walter Steinmeier, in the State of Saarland.
The program brought together members of the diplomatic corps for talks with major industrial, scientific and research institutions with aim of deepening international cooperation and promoting dialogue on innovation, sustainable industrial development and investment opportunities.
During the visit , the delegation visited leading German companies, including Hager Group and Villeroy and Boch, as well as renowned research institutions at Saarland University. The talks and visit provided valuable insights into Germany’ technological and industrial capabilities and at the same time opened up prospects for increased cooperation between Zimbabwe and Germany in the areas of trade, industry, Research and Investment.
The Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe remains committed to fostering mutually beneficial partnerships that contribute to the economic growth and further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
